Status Update - *tweet*

Mark Bautista just arrived back in Quezon City and is really tired from spending a long weekend in Camarines Sur for the 4th Philippine Cable Wakeboard Nationals Competition. The 8 hour bus ride was a little too bumpy for my taste. I did dig the leather La-Z-Boy recliners though. - *tweet*








It was an INTERESTING weekend to say the least. The competition at the Camsur Watersports Complex wasn't the only thing goin on in CamSur. This province was having its yearly festival known as Kaogma (Happiness). I'm still trying to figure out the details from the craziness, but from what I remember, the long weekend had something to do with: Lay-Z-Boy recliners, Red Horse, Grandma Ma, Wakeboards, NesCafe girls, Laing Pizza w/ Bicol Express, longest day evers, scarecrows, blind judge, Jai Ho, crashing the stage, Banana Boat, Caribbean Hip-Hop, Schick Razors, Thug Passion, tapsilog, painted girls, 1080 spins, tantrums, Jamaica Ass, more Red Horse, Raley to Fakie, Hoochie Krypt, fade away chants!, cockblock city, buffet eats, major sweats, "So What" - pink, good vibes, Stoked, Inc., more Jai Ho, high striped socks, steezin' it, homemade magic shows (dropped jaw), fire dancers, arm wrestling for shots, everyone getting tossed in the pool (fully dressed), wakeskating, cold coffee w/ beer, beauty pageant, cabin sleeps, tail grabs, Cavs oof, & crushed tacos with Java rice.









Yes I know that list was random but that's just what the weekend was...RANDOM, just how I like it. And somehow in the midst of the madness our boy C-Lo took 1st place in the Open Men Wakeskate Division - Winch. I didn't make it on the podium but that's me proudly accepting 5th place in all its glory. 5th place is also code word for last place. And last place is just another way of saying I faked an injury so that I wouldn't have to embarrass myself in competition. Those guys are GOOD.
